Business Compliance Officer

About the role

The Business Compliance Officer will lead the management of PC Bank’s Regulatory Compliance Management System (RCMS) and act as a key partner in the second line of defense. This role ensures that the bank complies with all applicable laws and regulations while fostering a culture of compliance across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and manage the day‑to‑day operations of the RCMS.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date inventory of governing legislation and related controls.
• Review new or amended legislation and work with business units to enhance controls.
• Conduct risk assessments, monitoring, and testing to evaluate control effectiveness.
• Identify instances of non‑compliance and lead remediation efforts.
• Review and improve business controls to meet regulatory requirements.
• Provide training and advisory support on compliance matters to employees and Business Compliance Officers.
• Assist in preparing monthly reports for the Operational Risk Management Committee.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of risk management and regulatory compliance within the financial services sector.
• Ability to interpret and apply legislation to business processes.
