Built‑up Flat Roofer

About the role

The Built‑up Flat Roofer will install, repair and maintain roofing systems on commercial and industrial buildings in the Burlington area. Work is performed outdoors at heights on various locations, requiring physical stamina and attention to safety.

Key responsibilities

• Install built‑up roofing systems using asphalt‑saturated felts, hot asphalt and gravel.
• Install or replace asphalt, wood shingles, shakes and masonry or baked‑clay tiles on sloped roofs.
• Install single‑ply waterproof sheet membranes (modified plastics, elastomeric or asphaltic compositions).
• Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements.
• Repair or replace existing roofing components and perform routine maintenance.

Required profile

• 3 to less than 5 years of experience in commercial/industrial roofing.
• Ability to work at heights, handle loads up to 23 kg and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Dependable, reliable team player with good hand‑eye coordination.
