Brand Ambassador – In‑Store Plinko Event

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and outgoing Brand Ambassador to support an exciting Big‑box re‑opening event at Walmart Supercenter in Temiskaming Shores. The one‑day, part‑time contract includes a virtual training session on October 20 and the activation on October 24, where you will facilitate a Plinko board game, distribute prizes and create a fun, welcoming environment for shoppers.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate the Plinko board game, engaging customers while they play.
• Distribute prizes and manage the activation setup and cleanup independently.
• Organize and conduct in‑store product sampling events, demonstrating featured products.
• Provide product information and encourage purchases through active customer engagement.
• Follow provided guidelines to prepare kit prizes before the event.
• Use a company card to purchase necessary items and maintain accurate records of prize distribution.
• Ensure compliance with safety and store policies throughout the activation.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills, outgoing personality and confidence engaging diverse groups.
• Reliable and able to work independently, with quick‑thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lb and able to manage setup and teardown duties.
• Access to reliable transportation to the event location (vehicle is an asset but not mandatory).
• Availability to attend the mandatory virtual training on October 20.
