Boutique General Manager – Luxury Fashion Retail

About the role

Zadig&Voltaire is seeking a motivated General Manager to lead its high‑volume Westmount boutique on a long‑term temporary basis covering a medical leave. The role combines operational oversight, sales leadership, and customer relationship management within a luxury fashion environment.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure seamless daily operations and maintain high operational standards.
• Build and nurture lasting relationships with customers to grow the client base.
• Motivate, coach, and manage the sales team to exceed sales and productivity targets.
• Handle loss‑prevention situations while delivering exemplary customer service.
• Plan, delegate, and oversee team responsibilities, including training sessions.
• Monitor inventory, scheduling, sales goals, and KPI performance.

Required profile

• 3‑4 years of management experience in fashion retail, preferably luxury.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Target‑driven mindset with a solid understanding of key performance indicators.
• Ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve excellence.

Required skills

• Knowledge of retail KPIs and loss‑prevention procedures.
• Experience with inventory management and sales reporting.
