About the role
The Bottle Depot Supervisor will lead daily operations at our recycling depot, ensuring efficient processing of returned bottles and maintaining a safe, productive environment. This green‑focused position supports our commitment to environmental sustainability while managing staff and equipment.
Key responsibilities
- Organise tasks to accomplish work objectives and maintain workflow.
- Ensure smooth operation of computer equipment and recycling machinery.
- Arrange maintenance and repair work for all equipment.
- Resolve operational problems, provide technical advice and recommend productivity improvements.
- Train workers on duties, policies and safety procedures.
- Coordinate, assign and review staff work.
- Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies as needed.
- Set staff work schedules and manage shift coverage.
Required profile
- Secondary (high school) graduation certificate.
- 3 to less than 5 years of relevant supervisory experience.
- Organised, team‑player attitude.
- Commitment to positive environmental outcomes (green job).
