Booking Clerk

About the role

EFW Radiology is seeking a Booking Clerk to join its call‑center team. In this temporary, full‑time position you will be the first point of contact for patients requesting radiology and diagnostic imaging appointments, ensuring a smooth and compassionate scheduling experience.

Key responsibilities

• Answer a high volume of inbound calls and respond promptly to appointment requests.
• Enter patient demographics and appointment details accurately into the scheduling system.
• Coordinate with modality staff and the Booking team to match physician availability with patient needs.
• Maintain privacy and confidentiality in accordance with EFW policies.
• Provide courteous, diplomatic service to patients and physicians.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the booking workflow.

Required profile

• Medical Office Assistant diploma or completion of a recognized medical terminology course (strong asset).
• Previous call‑center experience, preferably in radiology or diagnostic imaging scheduling.
• Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills.
• Logical, analytical and critical thinking abilities.
• Customer‑focused attitude with adaptability to diverse personalities.
• Resilience in fast‑paced environments and ability to sit for prolonged periods.
• Quick learner of new computer programs.
