Biology Instructor – Academic

About the role

The College of the North Atlantic is seeking a dedicated Biology Instructor to join its Gander Campus. You will teach a range of biology courses, support student learning, and contribute to the academic community.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess biology course objectives for diverse programs.
• Organise instructional materials and manage the learning environment.
• Provide academic advice and guidance to students regarding their programs and courses.
• Support and participate in accreditation reviews and related activities.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology.
• Bachelor of Education (Secondary or Post‑Secondary) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of core biology concepts and classroom management techniques.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and make decisions.
• Commitment to teaching excellence, professionalism, and positive student experiences.
