Bilingual Key Account Manager – Montreal

About the role

Our client, a leading supplier of chocolate and chocolate products to major national retailers, is seeking a bilingual Key Account Manager based in Montreal. You will act as the strategic lead for a portfolio of key retail accounts, driving growth, category initiatives, and flawless execution with internal and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow assigned key retail accounts, setting and maintaining sales objectives.
• Build strong relationships with multiple buyers within each account.
• Prepare proposals, seasonal product presentations, and negotiate multi‑year contracts.
• Lead promotional agreements and coordinate negotiations.
• Identify new business opportunities and develop tailored sales strategies.
• Proactively seek growth opportunities, respond promptly to client needs, and propose improvements.

Required profile

• Fluent in French and excellent English (written and spoken).
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience selling to retail accounts at the head‑office level.
• Willingness to travel 2–3 overnight trips per year.

What we offer

• Base salary $90,000 – $115,000 CAD per year.
• Car allowance reimbursed per kilometre.
• All reasonable expenses reimbursed.
