About the role

We are looking for a bilingual (English/French) IT Help Desk Support Technician to join a 24/7 remote team serving clients across Canada. You will be the first point of contact for end‑users, handling hardware, software and networking issues while delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

  • Respond to support tickets via phone, email and remote tools.
  • Provide troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices and VPN connections.
  • Manage Microsoft 365, Teams, Outlook and Active Directory accounts, including password resets and network drive mapping.
  • Document solutions in the ticketing system and monitor alerts for antivirus and backup services.
  • Escalate complex issues following defined procedures and contribute to internal knowledge bases.

Required profile

  • Formal training in Computer Science, IT Support or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of help‑desk or IT support experience.
  • Bilingual fluency in written and spoken English and French.
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts or on‑call as needed for a 24/7 environment.

Required skills

  • Microsoft 365 (O365) administration.
  • Active Directory user and group management.
  • Experience with ticketing systems.
  • Understanding of networking concepts, VPNs and email protocols.
  • Desktop, laptop, printer and mobile device support.

  • Salary range $50,000‑$60,000 CAD per year.
