Bilingual Environmental Auditor

About the role

BluMetric Environmental Inc. is looking for an intermediate‑level Bilingual Environmental Auditor with full professional proficiency in English and French. The auditor will support environmental compliance and management‑system audits for clients across Canada, with a focus on Quebec. Travel to client sites and participation in multidisciplinary projects are required.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in drafting audit plans and reports under the supervision of a Lead Auditor.
• Conduct document reviews, interviews, on‑site examinations, and compliance assessments.
• Formulate recommendations based on audit findings and track key engagement milestones.
• Provide regular status reports to the Project Manager and ensure audits follow Institute of Internal Auditors standards.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive data and fulfill occupational health and safety training requirements.

Required profile

• University degree or technical diploma in environmental science, engineering, management or related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in environmental auditing, compliance or consulting.
• Auditor certification with the Quebec Association of Environmental Auditing (VEA®) or eligibility for EcoCanada Certified Environmental Auditor accreditation.
• Full professional bilingual capability in English and French, with strong verbal and technical writing skills.
