Bilingual Auto Transportation Dispatcher (English/French)

About the role

The Dispatcher is the central point for coordinating safe and efficient vehicle shipments across Canada and the United States. Based in Montreal (or Quebec City), you will work with drivers, clients and internal teams to ensure timely pickup and delivery of new and used cars.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule and organize vehicle pickups and deliveries for local and long‑haul routes.
• Communicate real‑time updates to drivers and customers, handling delays or issues as they arise.
• Apply knowledge of Canadian provinces and U.S. states to optimize routing and comply with transportation regulations.
• Participate in the full customer onboarding and shipment process, supporting billing and collections.
• Maintain accurate records in dispatch software and Microsoft Office tools.

Required profile

• Fluent in written and spoken English and French.
• Proven experience in a fast‑paced dispatch or logistics environment.
• Strong organizational, multitasking and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift up to 60 lb when required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
• Familiarity with dispatch software and transportation routing tools.
