Bell/Valet Supervisor

About the role

Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise in Banff National Park is hiring a Bell Desk & Valet Supervisor to lead by example in delivering warm, personalized and anticipatory service to guests on arrival and departure. The supervisor oversees the day-to-day operations of the bell desk, valet and door staff so that service is efficient, guests are satisfied and Fairmont's luxury standards are met. The position is permanent, paid $27.68 per hour, with a start date of January 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure seamless arrival and departure experiences, including luggage assistance and valet parking.
• Coordinate and monitor shuttle schedules and routes to local areas.
• Handle guest concerns with empathy and resolve them promptly.
• Ensure vehicle keys are logged correctly and that valet ticketing procedures are accurate.
• Seek feedback on guest satisfaction and employee experience.
• Develop and oversee the implementation of all departmental training needs.
• Maintain clear communication within the team and with other departments.
• Monitor team performance, manage shift coverage and ensure staff follow grooming and service standards.
• Train, coach and mentor colleagues and give performance feedback.

Required profile

• Previous supervisory experience in a luxury hotel environment is required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada; the hotel cannot help obtain work authorization.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Valid Class 4 driver's licence with a clear driving record.
• Ability to drive both manual and automatic vehicles.
