About the role
Royal Hair Castle is seeking a motivated Barber Apprentice to join our busy Winnipeg salon. You will receive hands‑on training while delivering haircut, styling, and grooming services to a diverse clientele.
Key responsibilities
- Book client appointments and manage the daily schedule.
- Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair according to client preferences.
- Shampoo customers’ hair and provide beard and mustache trimming.
- Suggest suitable hairstyles based on clients’ features and wishes.
- Maintain a clean workstation and follow hygiene and safety standards.
- Maintain and order salon supplies.
Required profile
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, repetitive environment.
- Strong attention to detail and hand‑eye coordination.
- Comfort standing for extended periods.
- Client‑focused attitude and teamwork skills.
- Quick learner with a willingness to develop barbering techniques.
- Good communication skills for interacting with clients.
