Baker – Large Volume Bakery (Richmond, BC)

About the role

We are seeking a baker to join our large‑volume bakery in Richmond, BC. The role involves preparing dough, baking a wide range of breads, rolls, pastries and specialty cakes, and ensuring product quality meets our standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare dough, batters, icings and frostings according to recipes or custom orders.
• Bake mixed dough and batters, decorate cakes and pastries, and produce specialty items for weddings and birthdays.
• Order and manage materials, equipment and supplies; maintain inventory and operate bakery machinery.
• Draw up production schedules, oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods, and ensure quality standards.

Required profile

• Accurate, dependable and client‑focused.
• Excellent oral and written communication, good judgement and teamwork.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, physically demanding environment with tight deadlines.
