Back of House Coordinator (Retail Stockroom)

About the role

JD Sports Canada is seeking a Back of House Coordinator for its Southgate Centre store in Edmonton. You will support the retail team by managing stockroom operations, handling e‑commerce order fulfillment, and ensuring inventory accuracy. This role offers the chance to develop operational expertise in a fast‑moving sports‑fashion environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Front of House staff with pulling in‑store customer requests.
• Lead daily stockroom activities, ensuring accurate labeling, logical placement, neat arrangement, and cleanliness.
• Receive, handle, and manage merchandise inventory promptly and organized.
• Process, pick, pack, and ship e‑commerce orders directly to customers.
• Communicate daily with customer service and store teams via Slack and email.
• Research inventory discrepancies to reduce shrinkage and support optimal sales.
• Utilize the company’s inventory system for daily tasks.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of retail or stockroom experience.
• Flexibility to work weekends.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong computer proficiency and problem‑solving ability.
• High attention to detail and task‑oriented mindset.
• Proactive and organized work style.
