Aviation Instrument Technician – Maintenance & Repair

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Aviation Instrument Technician to join our team and ensure the highest standards of safety and performance for aircraft electrical and avionics systems. You will work in a fast‑paced environment, handling installation, maintenance, repair, and overhaul tasks for a variety of aircraft equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect electrical and avionics systems to verify compliance with Transport Canada and company standards.
• Install, modify, and test aircraft instruments and electrical equipment.
• Repair, overhaul, and calibrate aircraft electrical systems and components.
• Test electrical, electronic, and instrument components for functionality and safety.
• Troubleshoot communication, navigation, and autoflight equipment.
• Perform detailed inspections of aircraft systems and components.

Required profile

• College/CEGEP education in a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in aircraft electrical or avionics maintenance.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong manual dexterity, hand‑eye coordination, and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Team player with reliable judgment and initiative.
