Automotive Service Technician – Full-time

About the role

Join a reputable dealership in Ottawa as an Automotive Service Technician. You will work in a busy garage environment, diagnosing, repairing and maintaining a wide range of vehicles while delivering high‑quality service to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect engines and vehicle systems while in operation.
• Review work orders and perform road tests.
• Test, adjust, repair or replace automotive components to manufacturer specifications.
• Conduct scheduled maintenance and complete detailed service reports.
• Coach and instruct apprentices on best practices.

Required profile

• Trade certificate or diploma in automotive service, or equivalent experience.
• Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification and Red Seal Certificate.
• 1–2 years of hands‑on experience in vehicle repair.
• Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity and ability to stand for long periods.
• Clean driving record and ability to work safely in a noisy garage.
