About the role
We are looking for an experienced Automotive Mechanic to maintain and repair commercial transport trucks and related systems at our Surrey facility. The role involves diagnosing faults, performing repairs, and ensuring all work meets manufacturer specifications.
Key responsibilities
- Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems, automotive systems, and truck‑trailer systems.
- Inspect, test, and diagnose mechanical units, including brakes, fuel and emission systems, transmissions, HVAC, and auto body components.
- Estimate parts and labour costs, complete maintenance reports, and verify work with the supervisor.
Required profile
- Minimum secondary school graduation.
- At least 5 years of experience working on automotive and commercial vehicle systems.
- Ability to work in a noisy onsite environment and pay close attention to detail.
Required skills
- Diagnostics of automotive systems.
- Brake system repair.
- Fuel and emission system maintenance.
- Automatic and standard transmission repair.
- Auto body repair.
- Heating, ventilation and air‑conditioning (HVAC) system service.
- Operation of Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) equipment.
