About the role
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Dismantler to join our team at Jasper Auto Parts in Edmonton. The role involves safely taking apart vehicles and preparing components for resale or recycling in a fast‑paced, outdoor environment.
Key responsibilities
- Dismantle a variety of automotive vehicles, removing parts and components according to safety standards.
- Handle and transport parts weighing up to 45 kg (100 lb) using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to dust and noise control procedures.
- Inspect removed parts for quality and document any issues.
- Ensure personal protective equipment, including steel‑toed safety boots, is worn at all times.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years experience in automotive dismantling or a related trade.
- Trade certificate or diploma in a relevant field.
- Ability to work in dusty, noisy, outdoor conditions.
- Physical capability to lift and handle items up to 45 kg.
- Strong hand‑eye coordination and attention to detail.
