Attorney – U.S. Business Immigration (Toronto)

About the role

EY is seeking an experienced Attorney to join its U.S. Business Immigration team in Toronto. You will deliver high‑volume immigration services and provide strategic legal solutions for multinational clients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of U.S. business immigration matters, including PERM, non‑immigrant (NIV) and immigrant (IV) visa applications.
• Prepare, review and submit immigration petitions and related documentation in a high‑volume environment.
• Advise clients on cross‑border employee movement and develop proactive business‑focused immigration strategies.
• Oversee client deliverables, prioritize competing tasks and ensure high‑quality service.
• Supervise law clerks and other client‑service team members.
• Contribute to practice development and implementation of best practices.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor degree and admission to a U.S. state bar.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. business immigration law; basic knowledge is preferred.
• Excellent managerial, organizational and written/oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
• Professional handling of sensitive and confidential information.
