Associate Veterinarian – Equine Racetrack & Sports Medicine

About the role

Join Elder’s Equine, Manitoba’s premier equine medical facility, as an Associate Veterinarian focused on racetrack and sports medicine. You will work alongside a five‑doctor team that includes boarded specialists in surgery and anesthesiology, providing top‑tier care for a diverse caseload of horses.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive equine medical services, with emphasis on racetrack and sports medicine.
• Diagnose and treat musculoskeletal injuries, performance issues, and emergency cases.
• Collaborate with specialists for surgical cases, anesthesia, and advanced diagnostics.
• Utilize the hospital’s advanced imaging and therapeutic equipment to support patient care.
• Participate in on‑call rotations and emergency coverage as needed.

Required profile

• Veterinary degree with licensure to practice equine medicine.
• Experience or strong interest in racetrack and sports medicine.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
• Willingness to relocate; French fluency is a plus for Francophone mobility permits.
