Associate Tax Manager – Advisory Team

About the role

We are looking for an Associate Tax Manager to join our growing advisory practice. In this position you will lead client engagements, provide high‑quality tax advice, and continue to deepen your expertise in complex tax matters across a variety of industries.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support client engagements, delivering tax advisory services.
• Collaborate with senior leaders on strategic planning for diverse organizations.
• Review and assist in the preparation of corporate and personal tax returns.
• Research technical tax issues and present clear findings.
• Mentor junior professionals and support their development.
• Identify business‑development opportunities and build client relationships.
• Manage multiple projects, balancing deadlines and priorities.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and team performance.

Required profile

• CPA designation (required).
• 5+ years of progressive experience in public practice or professional services.
• Advanced tax training (e.g., CPA In‑Depth Tax Program or Master’s in Taxation) completed or in progress.
• Strong technical expertise in tax planning and compliance.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts.
• Proven project‑management and organizational abilities.
• Proactive, growth‑mindset with leadership potential.
• Experience preparing or reviewing complex tax memorandums is an asset.
