Associate Director, Academic Systems and Enrolment

About the role

The Associate Director, Academic Systems and Enrolment provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for key academic services within Applied Science Student Services at UBC. The role supports roughly 5,500 undergraduate and 400 professional graduate students across multiple programs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of student services related to enrolment, registration, and academic systems.
• Develop innovative business solutions and service models that enhance student experience.
• Provide technical and strategic oversight on cross‑functional projects spanning academic and administrative units.
• Foster collaboration with faculty, staff, and university partners to ensure service excellence.
• Champion an inclusive, developmental advising culture across the Faculty of Applied Science.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in higher‑education administration or student services.
• Proven ability to lead strategic initiatives and manage complex projects.
• Strong collaborative mindset with experience working across academic and administrative teams.
