About the role
The Department of Psychiatry at McGill University, in partnership with the Douglas Research Centre, seeks two full‑time Assistant or Associate Professors (Research) to lead independent research programmes in single‑cell genomics focused on the brain and mental disorders.
Key responsibilities
- Establish an independent research program in single‑cell genomics applied to the brain and mental disorders.
- Supervise graduate and post‑doctoral students.
- Collaborate with the Douglas Research Centre and the Department of Psychiatry on interdisciplinary projects.
- Secure external funding and publish research findings.
Required profile
- Relevant academic qualifications and research experience in single‑cell genomics and psychiatric neuroscience.
- Demonstrated ability to lead independent research and mentor students.
- Strong publication record in the field.
