Assistant to the Director (12‑month temporary role)

About the role
Air Transat is seeking a proactive Assistant to the Director for a 12‑month fixed‑term assignment. Working closely with the Executive Assistant to the Chief Operations Officer, you will provide high‑level administrative support to senior leaders in a fast‑moving airline environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage Outlook calendars, coordinate priorities and adjust schedules based on business needs.
- Prepare and process expense reports using Concur.
- Organise meeting logistics, including room bookings, catering, agendas, presentations and minutes.
- Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements.
- Draft, translate and format confidential correspondence and documents.
- Act as a backup for the Executive Assistant to the COO when required.
Required profile
- College diploma (DEC) in office administration or equivalent.
- Minimum three years of experience supporting senior leaders in a complex corporate setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment and a client‑oriented mindset.
- Fluency in both French and English, with a higher level of French for Quebec‑based positions.
Required skills
- Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Adobe Acrobat.
- Experience with Concur (expense) and SAP (asset) – considered an asset.
- Familiarity with collaborative digital tools and AI assistants such as Copilot.
