Assistant Manager – Fast Food

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of our fast‑food restaurant in Spruce Grove. You will help drive profitability, manage staff, and ensure a high level of customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and develop budgets to control food, ingredient, and supply costs.
• Monitor revenues, labour costs, and cash flow, preparing balance sheets and cash reports.
• Plan, organize, and supervise daily restaurant operations, including inventory management.
• Recruit, schedule, train, and evaluate staff performance.
• Adjust menu pricing and food preparation methods based on budget targets.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food‑handling regulations.
• Negotiate with suppliers for food and other supplies.
• Participate in marketing initiatives and manage special events.

Required profile

• College diploma or equivalent (1‑2 year program).
• 2–3 years of experience in fast‑food or restaurant management.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, organize, and lead a team of 5‑10 people.
