Assembly Line General Labourer – Full-time Term Position

About the role
Join a fast‑paced food packaging plant in Dartmouth, working on an assembly line in a cold/refrigerated environment. The role is a term/full‑time position focused on moving and preparing materials for production.
Key responsibilities
- Transport raw materials, finished products and equipment throughout the plant manually.
- Check and weigh materials and products to ensure accuracy.
- Sort, pack, crate and package materials and products.
- Clean machines and immediate work areas.
- Follow safety and security procedures, including criminal record checks.
Required profile
- Ability to work independently and handle repetitive, physically demanding tasks.
- Capability to lift and move loads up to 23 kg (50 lb) and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to detail, hand‑eye coordination and basic numeracy for weighing and sorting.
- Minimum 7 months to less than 1 year experience in a food manufacturing or packaging environment.
- Possession of steel‑toed safety boots and willingness to undergo a criminal record check.
