Apprentice Welder

About the role

Join TC Steel Ltd. as an Apprentice Welder and develop hands‑on expertise in custom metal fabrication. You will receive Level Three apprenticeship training while working full‑time in an industrial manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform custom fabrication using a variety of welding techniques.
• Operate Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW/TIG), Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) and Flux‑Core Arc Welding (FCAW) equipment.
• Handle repetitive tasks and lift loads up to 23 kg (50 lb) safely.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to safety protocols.

Required profile

• Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience.
• 3 to less than 5 years of welding experience.
• Own reliable transportation.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding work.
• Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity and hand‑eye coordination.
