Animator (Junior & Intermediate)

About the role

ICON Creative Studio is seeking talented animators to join its Vancouver team. The role offers opportunities for both junior and intermediate artists to contribute to high‑profile CG productions for major streaming platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Animate shots using the 12 Principles of Animation, delivering strong timing, posing and performance.
• Compose and animate cameras while respecting basic photography and cinematography rules.
• Maintain clean scenes, organized keys and curves within the established pipeline.
• Meet weekly quotas, incorporate feedback from directors and supervisors, and participate in dailies and team reviews.

Required profile

• 1+ year of experience in an animation production environment or a relevant academic program.
• Proficiency with Autodesk Maya or comparable 3D animation software.
• Solid understanding of animation fundamentals and a passion for character performance.
• Strong communication, organization and time‑management skills, with a positive, team‑focused attitude.
