Android Developer – Montreal

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Android developer to join our mobile team in Montreal. You will work closely with the Project Manager and other developers to design, build, and launch high‑quality applications for a variety of startup clients.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Project Manager and UX/UI experts to define app requirements and user experiences.
• Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using modern Kotlin‑based architectures.
• Integrate UI components, custom views, and animations while ensuring performance and stability.
• Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare releases and publish applications to Google Play.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and modern Android libraries.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and capable of working autonomously.
• Good understanding of mobile performance issues and best practices.
• Experience collaborating with teams using Git.
