Android Developer

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Android Developer to join our team in Toronto. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience building Android applications with Kotlin and a strong grasp of Java fundamentals.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality Android applications using Kotlin.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and fix bugs, optimise app performance, and write clean, maintainable code.
• Implement unit tests and participate in code reviews.
• Publish applications to the Google Play Store.
• Use version control (Git) and project management tools (JIRA).
• Stay updated with the latest Android APIs and industry trends.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in Android development using Kotlin.
• Strong understanding of core Java.
• Proficient with Android Studio and modern architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM).
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills.
