About the role

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for a six‑month contract with a distribution client experiencing a period of heightened activity in Saint‑Bruno‑de‑Montarville. The role is pivotal in delivering accurate monthly close information, financial reporting, and account analysis while working in a fast‑changing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate month‑end activities to ensure timely and accurate financial information.
• Prepare, validate, and post journal entries related to monthly closes, adhering to internal controls.
• Analyze and reconcile balance‑sheet accounts.
• Produce financial statements and management reports.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve data quality and document integration needs.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial analysis, financial control, or a comparable role.
• Proven experience with month‑end close activities, journal entry preparation, and result analysis.
• Ability to work fluently in French.
• Strong organizational skills and initiative, especially in understaffed teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Sage 300 or ACCPAC (preferred).
• Experience extracting, manipulating, and interpreting financial data for ad‑hoc reporting.
