Alumni Service Representative

About the role

The Alumni Service Representative provides the first point of contact for UNB alumni, delivering friendly and professional service both in person and through phone and email channels. Reporting to the Executive Director, this role supports alumni engagement, event registration, and revenue‑generating initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome alumni and visitors at the main reception desk and manage the primary phone and email lines.
• Track inquiries to ensure timely resolution and refer requests to appropriate UNB departments.
• Staff registration desks for major alumni events such as Reunion Weekend, Alumni Weekend, and Proudly UNB Awards.
• Assist alumni with event registration, subscriptions, record updates, and transcript requests.
• Promote and manage revenue‑generating programs, including merchandise sales, sponsorships, and the Alumni Perks app.
• Develop and maintain partnerships that enhance alumni benefits and services.

Required profile

• Professional, courteous demeanor with strong customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to work standard hours (Mon‑Fri 8:15 am‑4:30 pm) and occasional after‑hours events.
• Experience handling high‑volume inquiries in a call‑center or front‑desk environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
