About the role
UBC Hiring Solutions is seeking motivated individuals to provide temporary administrative support across various university departments. You will join a dynamic roster of temps who are placed on full‑time assignments (approximately 35 hours per week) at locations such as the Point Grey Campus, Robson Square, and affiliated hospital sites.
Key responsibilities
- Perform general office administration tasks, including filing, data entry, and document preparation.
- Provide executive assistance such as calendar management, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements.
- Manage reception duties, greet visitors, and handle incoming communications.
- Support program teams with scheduling, reporting, and logistical arrangements.
- Assist students by providing information, processing requests, and maintaining records.
Required profile
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to varying assignment lengths, locations, and work arrangements.
