Adjunct Instructor – Medical & Health Services Management

About the role

The Adjunct Instructor will deliver high‑quality, engaging instruction in healthcare management courses to undergraduate and/or graduate students. This part‑time, flexible position is designed for professionals who wish to share their expertise while continuing their own practice or career, primarily teaching online.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and update course materials, syllabi, and assessments.
• Deliver lectures, lead discussions, and facilitate student participation.
• Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Mentor and guide students both inside and outside the classroom.
• Develop and implement curriculum aligned with learning outcomes.
• Foster a collaborative and critical‑thinking learning environment.

Required profile

• Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate credit hours in healthcare management, business administration, or a related field (SACS credential standards).
• Strong background related to the selected course topics.
• Professional experience in healthcare settings; teaching experience at the college level is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience teaching adult learners online is strongly preferred.
