Acute Care Nurse Practitioner – Long Term Care

About the role

Join a fast‑paced acute care team delivering essential treatment to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. You will work across emergency, intensive, and urgent care environments, ensuring patients are stabilized and discharged safely.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct acute care to patients in emergency rooms, intensive care units, and urgent care clinics.
• Coordinate and manage patient care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Interpret diagnostic tests and results to guide clinical decision‑making.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and follow‑up care.
• Maintain high standards of patient safety, quality of care, and documentation.

Required profile

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree.
• Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice.
• Certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Nurse Practitioner in acute care.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Strong diagnostic and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent communication and patient‑education skills.
