Accountant – Flexible Part-Time Role

About the role

IPAC Consulting, a national leader in infection prevention and health & safety consulting, is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to support its financial operations on a flexible part-time basis.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Prepare and reconcile financial statements, reports, and general ledger accounts.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Support payroll processing and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Prepare tax filings and assist with year-end accounting.
• Provide financial insights to aid strategic decision-making.
• Maintain organized financial records and support audits as needed.

Required profile

• Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Previous accounting or bookkeeping experience, preferably with small to mid-sized businesses.
• CPA designation or progress toward CPA is an asset.
• Ability to work on-site at the Woodstock office as scheduled.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Familiarity with payroll systems.
