Account Manager – Specialty Chemicals Sales

About the role
We are seeking a results‑driven Account Manager to join a specialty chemical manufacturer that supplies chemicals to the pulp and paper industry. The role focuses on generating new business while nurturing existing customer relationships, leveraging digital tools and CRM platforms to expand the regional customer base.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and develop new sales opportunities within the pulp and paper market.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing accounts in the assigned region.
- Utilise internal smart digital technologies and CRM systems to track leads, forecast sales, and manage the sales funnel.
- Provide technical support to customers and internal team members as needed.
- Drive MPC generation projects and contribute to quarterly sales metrics.
- Coach and share knowledge with colleagues to strengthen overall team performance.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Pulp & Paper, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of proven sales experience, preferably in chemical or specialty‑chemical sales to the paper/pulp sector.
- Demonstrated success in acquiring new accounts and meeting sales targets.
- Valid driver’s license.
Required skills
- Proficiency with CRM systems.
