Account Executive (Remote – Canada/US)

About the role

We are seeking a results‑driven Account Executive to join Xello’s sales team. Working remotely from Canada or the United States, you will sell our SaaS solutions to school districts across North America, guiding prospects through a full consultative sales cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and develop a self‑generated pipeline of school district accounts.
• Collaborate with Business Development Representatives to meet pipeline goals.
• Conduct discovery calls, deliver online presentations, and manage the end‑to‑end sales process.
• Maintain accurate pipeline data, forecast revenue, and report on sales performance using Salesforce.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual quota and represent Xello at industry events and conferences.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of B2B full‑cycle sales experience, preferably in SaaS or technology.
• Proven ability to create and execute a sales plan and manage a sales pipeline.
• Strong consultative selling and communication skills, with comfort in cold‑calling and warm leads.
• University degree or equivalent sales training.

Required skills

• Salesforce CRM.
• Zoom or similar web‑based presentation tools.
• General CRM tools for pipeline management.

• On‑target earnings ranging from $105k‑$120k CAD or $96k‑$104k USD (70 % base, 30 % incentive).
