About the Position
Join Pittsburgh Paints Company as an Account Development Manager and play a pivotal role in driving our commercial success. You will be responsible for expanding our market presence in the Calgary region by nurturing existing relationships and aggressively pursuing new business opportunities within our assigned retail network.
Main Missions
- Business Growth: Drive year-over-year revenue increases by maximizing sales within existing accounts and identifying high-potential new business prospects.
- Account Management: Provide exceptional customer service by staying updated on product innovations, promotions, and service best practices to identify growth opportunities.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive account planning strategies, analyzing market segments and competitor activities to capture new opportunities.
- CRM & Reporting: Maintain rigorous data integrity using CRM tools to manage contacts, log interactions, and generate actionable sales reports.
- Collaboration & Pricing: Partner with store managers and staff to meet client needs and facilitate accurate quotes that align with margin objectives and pricing strategies.
Candidate Profile
- High School Diploma required.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in sales or account management with a strong focus on customer service excellence.
- Experience within the coatings or paint industry is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in using CRM software for pipeline and relationship management.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to travel daily within the assigned Calgary territory.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without employer sponsorship.
