2D Art Generalist – NFL Universe Football

About the role

Voldex is seeking a creative 2D Art Generalist to shape the visual experience of NFL Universe Football on Roblox. You will own the design of UI elements, seasonal graphics, and marketing assets, working closely with designers, engineers, and other artists to deliver polished, player‑focused visuals.

Key responsibilities

• Design high‑quality 2D assets for UI (buttons, icons, menus, HUDs, pop‑ups) and promotional content (banners, event graphics, animated emojis, in‑game offers).
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and cross‑functional partners to iterate on layouts, interactions, and visual states.
• Maintain and evolve the game’s visual language while adhering to style guides and contributing new ideas.
• Optimize all assets for desktop, mobile, and console platforms.
• Participate in UI/UX discussions, art reviews, scrums, and 1:1 meetings, fostering a feedback‑rich creative culture.

Required profile

• Strong portfolio showcasing polished 2D UI and in‑game assets.
• Solid foundation in drawing, composition, color theory, and visual storytelling.
• Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects or Premiere (or comparable tools).
• Hands‑on experience creating functional UI elements for games.
• Understanding of production pipelines and asset optimization.
• Excellent communication skills for remote collaboration and openness to constructive feedback.
