Web Designer

About the role

We are seeking a creative Web Designer to join our team in Edmonton. The role focuses on designing and integrating website code, ensuring optimal performance, and contributing to the development of robust web architectures. This position offers the chance to work on diverse interactive media projects within a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and integrate website-related code, adhering to best practices.
• Determine hardware and software requirements to achieve optimal server performance.
• Develop and maintain website architecture.
• Write, modify, and test website code to ensure functionality and quality.
• Design, develop, and implement information systems business solutions.
• Research and evaluate interactive media software products.
• Resolve conflict situations and ensure project timelines are met.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years of relevant web design experience.
• Confidential security clearance.
• Accurate, proactive, and a strong team player.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.

Required skills

• Web design principles and best practices.
• Understanding of hardware and software requirements for web performance.
• Experience with website architecture and code testing.
• Familiarity with interactive media software evaluation.
