Water Resources Project Manager

About the role

Parsons is seeking an experienced Water Resources Project Manager to lead complex wastewater, stormwater and water‑supply projects on Vancouver Island. You will be responsible for the full project lifecycle, from feasibility studies through design, construction and financial performance, while working within a collaborative, innovative culture.

Key responsibilities

• Manage delivery of wastewater, stormwater and water‑supply projects, including linear infrastructure and pump stations.
• Prepare, supervise and review design drawings, engineering calculations, technical reports, specifications, quantity take‑offs and cost estimates.
• Develop scopes of work, technical proposals and coordinate with internal teams and external clients/agencies.
• Lead and supervise multidisciplinary project teams, conduct site visits and field inspections.
• Act as Parsons’ representative with clients, negotiate scope changes, and market additional work.
• Oversee creation of Project Execution Plans, Health & Safety Plans, and QA/QC documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation.
• 10+ years of experience delivering wastewater, stormwater and water‑supply projects.
• Experience working with regional districts and the BC Ministry of Transportation & Infrastructure is preferred.
• Proven written and oral communication skills and ability to manage client relationships.
