About the role
We are looking for a friendly and reliable waiter/waitress to join our team at Turkish Kebab House in Kanata. This full‑time, permanent position involves serving guests, handling orders, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
Key responsibilities
- Greet patrons, present menus, describe daily specials and advise on selections.
- Take orders and relay them accurately to kitchen and bar staff.
- Prepare and serve specialty food and beverages at customers’ tables.
- Present bills, process payments (cash, credit/debit cards, travellers’ cheques) and handle room billings.
- Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Supervise other servers and bussing staff as needed.
- Assist guests with special needs and provide overall customer service.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- No prior experience required; training will be provided.
- Flexible availability for morning, evening, day, weekend and overtime shifts.
- Own transportation (public transit also available) and ability to lift up to 9 kg.
- Clear criminal record check.
