Video Ad Designer

About the role

kodify is looking for a creative, data‑driven Video Ad Designer to own the creative side of paid acquisition. You will craft high‑performing video ads for pre‑roll, native and digital campaigns, turning existing content into conversion‑focused assets and coordinating original shoots when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Concept, design and produce video ads for premium ad platforms across multiple formats and aspect ratios.
• Plan and direct ad‑specific shoots, creating briefs, shot lists and on‑set direction.
• Build motion graphics, animated titles, overlays and end cards to make ads stand out.
• Run A/B tests across the funnel and apply performance insights to subsequent creative iterations.
• Monitor real‑time metrics (CTR, engagement, conversion) and translate insights into creative direction with the media buying team.
• Maintain brand alignment, organise media assets with clear naming and version control.

Required profile

• Proven experience producing video advertising creative for paid campaigns with a measurable portfolio.
• Comfort working from an existing content library and extracting high‑impact moments.
• Experience in pre‑production tasks such as briefs, shot lists and storyboards.
• Strong understanding of paid media formats, platform specs and funnel metrics.
• Ability to analyse KPI data (CTR, CPA, LTV, watch‑through) and turn it into clear creative recommendations.
