About the role

Heroux-Devtek is seeking an Internal Auditor to strengthen its internal audit function and corporate governance. The role supports continuous improvement of audit controls, risk management, and special projects across the aerospace manufacturing site in Longueuil.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise ICFR testing in line with the 52‑109 compliance mandate, working with external audit firms.
• Analyze, collect, plan, execute, test, and document processes and information for operational internal audit engagements.
• Develop and implement recommendations to improve internal audit controls and monitor their adoption.
• Contribute to the overall enhancement of the internal audit function and participate in risk‑management initiatives.
• Support special corporate projects such as process redesign and improvement.
• Assist in managing the company’s commercial insurance portfolio.

Required profile

• Experience in internal audit, risk management, or related financial control functions.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external auditors.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills.
