UX Designer – AI‑Powered Healthcare Platform

About the role

We are looking for a UX Designer to shape AI‑powered experiences for clinicians, pharmacists and patients on Asepha’s medication‑access platform. The role will have direct impact on how users interact with complex automation, ensuring it feels simple, trustworthy and efficient.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end design process from research and journey mapping to wireframes, prototypes and high‑fidelity specs handed off to engineering.
• Design intuitive interfaces for AI‑native workflows, including agentic task flows, human‑in‑the‑loop escalations and real‑time updates.
• Conduct user research with pharmacists, clinicians and operations staff and translate findings into design decisions.
• Build and maintain a design system that scales across multiple personas and workflow types.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, product and pharmacy teams to turn ambiguous clinical problems into shippable experiences.
• Support sales and customer success with demo environments, pitch materials and lightweight UI improvements.

Required profile

• 4+ years of product/UX design experience with a portfolio of shipped AI‑powered products.
• Experience designing for AI platforms, communicating model confidence, handling errors and keeping humans in control.
• Proven ability to work directly with engineers and deliver designs into production.
• Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS and familiarity with design‑to‑development handoff.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Location: based in Toronto, Canada or Manhattan, US preferred; remote considered for the right candidate.
