Used Service Technician – Automotive Service

About the role

Join a busy, well‑supported service department as a Used Service Technician. You will diagnose, service, and repair customer vehicles while keeping the customer experience front and center.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, and repair vehicles according to manufacturer and dealership standards.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on brakes, steering, suspension, drivetrain, electrical, cooling, and climate‑control systems.
• Road‑test vehicles for diagnostic verification and quality control.
• Document repairs with clear condition, cause, and correction notes.
• Identify and communicate additional recommended repairs or maintenance.
• Collaborate with Service Advisors, Parts, and fellow technicians to maintain workflow.
• Follow warranty, recall, safety, and dealership repair procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area.

Required profile

• Experience as an automotive service technician; strong apprentice‑level candidates may be considered.
• Dealership experience is a strong asset.
• Reliable attendance, accountability, and a professional attitude.
• Customer‑focused mindset and willingness to work as part of a team.

Required skills

• Brake, steering, suspension, drivetrain, electrical, cooling, and climate‑control system repair.
• Vehicle road‑testing for diagnostics and quality assurance.
• Use of dealership management software such as CDK (or similar).
• Own tools required to perform automotive service and repair work.
