Truck Trailer Mechanic – Full‑time

About the role

Join a busy workshop supporting commercial transport operations, performing maintenance and repairs on trucks and trailers to keep fleets moving safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck and trailer systems.
• Inspect, test and diagnose mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
• Perform road tests and verify repairs meet manufacturer specifications.
• Estimate parts and labour costs, complete work orders and record detailed reports.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation.
• 3‑5 years experience as a truck or trailer mechanic.
• Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification and Red Seal endorsement.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to work in a fast‑paced workshop environment.

Required skills

• Mechanical diagnostics of commercial vehicle systems.
• Repair and maintenance of truck‑trailer components.
• Road testing and performance verification.
• Estimating parts and labour costs.
