About the role
New West Transport Ltd is looking for a reliable Truck Driver who will also take on supervisory responsibilities. Based in Calgary, you will ensure safe and efficient transport operations while leading a team of workers on site.
Key responsibilities
- Recommend measures to improve work methods and productivity.
- Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and enhance product quality.
- Supervise workers and projects, coordinating schedules and activities.
- Monitor and operate the signal and track switch control panel.
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed at all times.
- Coordinate repairs, rentals and the requisition of materials, equipment and supplies.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
Required skills
- Signal and track switch control panel operation.
